Loving Leather

Leather, one of fall’s hottest trends, is all around us. Leather skirts, leggings, pants, sleeves, gloves, etc. I am loving it all! But my clothing budget doesn’t really allow for a lot of leather goods – beyond leather shoes and bags, I’m going faux! So I’ve rounded up some real leather items that are simply unaffordable and matched them with a faux leather option at a much lower price 🙂

Leather Dress

Alexander wang

As much as I loooooove the Alexander Wang dress, I am just as crazy about the W118 by Walter Baker dress for $900 less.
Leather Skirts

River Island red leather skirt
$130 – riverisland.com
I am a huge fan of a leather skirt, especially a burgundy/oxblood skirt! And even though this McQueen skirt has a cool zipper detail, I like the River Island skirt just as much!
Leather jackets

A tan leather biker jacket is an edgy and cool addition to any fall closet. Wear it with jeans, cords or even a casual dress with tights and boots!
Leather Leggings

I love leather leggings, but I am not going to buy a pair of designer leather leggings that might only be trendy for 1 season. Instead, I’m opting for a pair that is $50 or under, like those above by Zara. Or these by TopShop at Nordstrom!
Leather Tops

Oasis sleeveless top
$56 – oasis-stores.com

A leather top can be super chic with a colorful pencil skirt or with a pair of dark skinny jeans!
There are 3 things that I will always buy in real leather: shoes, belts and handbags. It is worth the price of real leather to have shoes, handbags and belts that actually last!
